William Macclanachan, an Anglican minister of evangelical leanings, formed a new church, seceded from Christ Church. They drafted articles of agreement for a new church St. Paul’s and promptly set about raising funds to construct it. William Macclanachan, an Anglican minister of evangelical leanings, formed a new church, seceded from Christ Church.
