Abstract
This file contains two letters addressed to the Rector, Wardens, and Vestry of the United Churches of Christ Church and St. Peter's. The first letter, dated April 11, 1831, is from Robert R. Bringhurst, who expresses a desire to lease two houses associated with Dr. Thomas' legacy, located at No. 58 and 60 North 5th Street. Bringhurst inquires about the terms of a multi-year lease and whether the properties would be leased in their present condition or repaired first [p. 1].
The second letter, dated May 27, 1831, is from Jackson Kemper tendering his resignation as Assistant Minister of the United Churches, a position he had held for twenty years.
